Mt 1230 behersker all type kjøring, og fungerer like godt i park og pipekjøring som til storfjell. Nose til tail trekjerne med relativt myk fleks gjør Mt 1230 til et lekent og lett brett å kjøre. Brettet innehar likevel en stabilitet som gjør at man får god mestringsfølelse, også i bratte fjellsider og pillowdrops. Twin tip og sentrert stance, samt realitvt stor nose og tail gjør at Mt 1230 flyter meget godt i løssnø.
